About Ecogrown Diamond

ABOUT US

At Ecogrown Diamond, we believe the future of diamonds is shaped by innovation, responsibility, and exceptional craftsmanship.

Using advanced laboratory technology, we create eco-friendly diamonds that are identical to natural diamonds in brilliance, purity, and durability. Each diamond is carefully grown through precise processes that combine science with artistry.

Our approach allows us to produce high-quality eco-friendly diamonds while minimizing environmental impact. This modern method represents a new era in the diamond industry — where beauty, technology, and sustainability exist together.

Ecogrown Diamond stands for trust, excellence, and the evolution of eco-friendly diamonds.

Our Diamond Grading

Our Grading

1. Cut

The cut plays a crucial role in a diamond’s brilliance and fire, and even the finest stone can look dull without an excellent cut grade.

2. Colour

The color grading of diamonds ranges from D (colorless) to Z (light yellow or brown). Diamonds with minimal color are considered more valuable, as they reflect light more effectively. In contrast, stones with visible color tend to appear less brilliant and are graded lower.

3. Clarity

This term is used to define both the inclusions within the diamond and the blemishes visible on its exterior.

4. Carat

Carat refers to how much a diamond weighs, not how large it looks. The cut significantly impacts its appearance, as a larger diamond with a poor cut can seem smaller than a well-cut diamond of lower carat weight.

Our Diamond Process

Our Process

The Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) diamond manufacturing process is a modern and highly advanced technique used to create lab-grown diamonds in a controlled environment. This method closely replicates the natural conditions under which diamonds form, but instead of taking billions of years beneath the Earth’s surface, it produces diamonds within a few weeks using scientific precision.

The process begins with a thin slice of diamond, known as a seed, which acts as the base for growth. This seed is placed inside a specialized vacuum chamber designed to maintain precise atmospheric conditions. The chamber is then heated to very high temperatures, typically between 700°C and 1000°C, creating an environment suitable for diamond formation.

A carefully controlled mixture of gases, primarily methane and hydrogen, is introduced into the chamber. Using microwave energy or similar energy sources, these gases are transformed into plasma. This plasma plays a critical role by breaking down the methane molecules and releasing pure carbon atoms.

These carbon atoms gradually settle onto the diamond seed, bonding layer by layer in a structured crystal pattern. As this process continues, the diamond grows atom by atom, forming a larger and high-quality crystal. Throughout the entire growth cycle, factors such as temperature, pressure, and gas composition are meticulously controlled to ensure consistency, purity, and optimal growth conditions.

After several weeks, the process results in a fully formed rough diamond. This rough diamond undergoes further steps including cutting, polishing, and grading, similar to natural diamonds, to achieve the desired shape, brilliance, and quality.

CVD diamonds are known for their exceptional purity, ethical sourcing, and environmental sustainability. Since they are created in a laboratory without the need for mining, they offer a responsible and innovative alternative to traditional diamonds while maintaining the same physical, chemical, and optical properties.
